Marc Giró starred this Tuesday in a monologue on the program Cara al Show in which he combined humor and political criticism to analyze the climate of discouragement among part of the progressive electorate.
During his intervention, the communicator proposed several ideas in a satirical tone to “lift the spirits” of left-wing voters, in a context of political uncertainty and weariness of the main parties.

Among them, he made a direct reference to Iker Jiménez, whom he used as an example in one of his most commented jokes. At that moment, Giró ironized with the possibility that, if a PP and Vox coalition were to govern, the presenter could “go back to dedicating himself to mystery” and leave political talk shows behind, in a phrase that quickly generated reactions on social media.
Beyond this allusion, the monologue also critically addressed the current political situation, the role of the opposition, and the division within the progressive spectrum, all within the usual style of the program, which mixes humor, opinion, and current affairs.
The program, broadcast on laSexta, continues to consolidate its identity as an entertainment format with political commentary, in a time slot where the channel seeks to consolidate its audience with current affairs content in a satirical key.
