María Casado says goodbye to 'Informativos Telecinco' in tears after announcing her departure from Mediaset

María Casado put the finishing touch this Sunday to her stage in Informativos Telecinco with an emotional farewell. The journalist, who days before had announced her departure from Mediaset España for personal reasons, could not hold back tears as she addressed viewers for the last time from the news set.

"Well... and what do I tell you today? I'm going to be very brief," the presenter began before thanking the support received during these two years. "I would like to say goodbye by telling you that I hope we will see each other again soon. Thank you for everything and, most importantly, I leave you in very good hands," she said visibly emotional, while the team paid tribute to her by projecting a "See you soon!" on the studio screen.

The communicator had already explained that her decision responds to the difficulty of combining her life between Malaga and Madrid. "For personal reasons, due to the difficulty of reconciling my life between Malaga and Madrid, I have decided to take a break," she wrote on her social networks, where she also thanked Mediaset for the trust placed in her during this period.

Her departure coincides with the summer reorganization of the group's news programs. Starting next weekend, Informativos Telecinco will be presented by Carmen Corazzini in the weekend edition, while the rest of Mediaset's news spaces will also face temporary changes due to the vacations of their main faces.
