María Patiño has spoken out forcefully on No Somos Nadie following Carlos Herrera's statements regarding the case involving Julio Iglesias. The presenter questioned the broadcaster's approach and focused on the victims' right to report without the notoriety of the alleged perpetrator being an added obstacle.

During her speech, Patiño called for a **direct reflection on the public treatment of these types of situations**: "If I go to the police station to report a rape, what do I do? Do I not say the name because he's famous?", she asked, highlighting the difficulty, in her opinion, of facing such a process when the person accused is a public figure.

For her part, Carlota Corredera stated that the singer seems to be a person very focused on his image and could be going through a delicate moment.

María Patió insisted that the debate should not focus on the media relevance of the name involved, but on the need for complaints to be filed normally and without external conditions. "What a pisser that it's Julio Iglesias," she added, referring to the weight that fame can have on the social perception of these cases. Somewhat shaken, she stated: "If it happened to me, I would lose the desire to report it."
