Netflix puts an end to 'Machos alfa': the series says goodbye with its sixth season, which is already filming

The series Machos alfa will end with its sixth season, already in production, putting an end to the story created by Alberto Caballero y Laura Caballero.

The announcement comes shortly after the premiere of the fifth installment, which once again ranked among the most watched in Spain. Since its debut in 2022, the comedy has consolidated itself as one of the platform's great national phenomena, even with international adaptations in several countries.

The fiction follows four friends interpreted by Fernando Gil, Raúl Tejón, Gorka Otxoa and Fele Martínez, who try to adapt to social changes and rethink their idea of masculinity, in a process full of comical situations and personal conflicts.

The last season will feature 10 episodes and new cast additions, thus closing one of the most popular Spanish comedies of recent years on streaming.
