Netflix has presented the official trailer for La desconocida, its new suspense thriller starring Candela Peña, Ana Rujas and Pol López, which will arrive on the platform next June 5, 2026. The film adapts the eponymous novel by Rosa Montero and Olivier Truc and opts for a story marked by mystery, police tension and psychological drama.
The story begins when a woman appears tied up and gagged in a container in the port of Barcelona without remembering who she is or how she got there. From that moment, detective Anna Ripoll, played by Candela Peña, begins a race against time investigation alongside officer Quique Zárate, played by Pol López, with the aim of discovering the victim's identity and reconstructing what happened.
The plot focuses on a race against time to solve a case that uncovers hidden secrets in the memory of the woman played by Ana Rujas, while the investigation progresses amidst fragmented clues and suspenseful twists.
The cast is completed by Manolo Solo, Kira Miró and Luka Peros, in a production directed by Gabe Ibáñez and written by Lara Sendim, which reinforces Netflix's commitment to high-impact Spanish thrillers.
