Netflix is going through a period of strategic changes in its global structure. The company has carried out cuts in its European product team, especially within its Creative Studio, the department responsible for developing promotional materials such as trailers, marketing campaigns, and creative pieces for its releases.

These adjustments are part of an internal reorganization of the product area, with which the platform seeks to optimize its structure and redefine the functioning of its creative and marketing teams. Although the company has not confirmed the exact number of affected employees, the cuts are mainly focused on the European group that worked on the adaptation and production of promotional content for different markets.

The Creative Studio has been until now a key area for Netflix, as it is responsible for creating trailers, promotional clips and advertising materials that accompany the launches of original series and films worldwide.

In parallel with this reorganization, the company has also made a significant technological bet by agreeing to purchase InterPositive, an artificial intelligence company linked to actor and director Ben Affleck, in an operation that could reach 600 million dollars.

The technology developed by this company allows to modify and improve cinematographic footage in post-production processes, facilitating tasks such as adjusting scenarios, eliminating unwanted elements, or improving the visual continuity of scenes. These tools aim to streamline creative work and reduce production costs.

The operation is considered one of the most relevant agreements related to artificial intelligence in the audiovisual industry, at a time when major platforms seek to integrate new technologies to optimize their production and distribution processes.

With these decisions, Netflix tries to balance cost reduction with investment in innovation, in full transformation of the streaming sector, where competition among platforms and technological evolution are redefining the future of the audiovisual industry.
