The artist Pablo Alborán returned this Monday to the set of La Revuelta on RTVE, where, in addition to promoting his tour KM0, he focused part of his appearance on an explicit defense of public healthcare in Spain.
At one point in the program with the presenter David Broncano, Alborán highlighted that, beyond political affiliations, health should be above all else and he underlined the work of healthcare professionals, whom he defined as dedicated even in working conditions that he considered “terrifying”.
With that context, the singer sent a clear message: “we will have to vote for those who help them”, alluding to those who, in his opinion, would protect and strengthen public healthcare if they accessed positions of representation.

Alborán linked this stance with a feeling of social responsibility and, in his words, with a form of "patriotism" based on the defense of fundamental public services.
The intervention – which generated reactions on social media and in the press – places the debate on public healthcare and its future at the center of public discussion again amidst the doctors' strike in Spain and a few months before several electoral processes in the country.
