Prime Video prepares with the RFEF a docuseries about the historic World Cup of the Spanish national team with unreleased images

The conquest of the 2026 World Cup by the Spanish national team will make the leap to the small screen. The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and Prime Video have announced the premiere, scheduled for next December, of a new docuseries that will review from within Spain's path to its second world title.

The production will consist of four chapters and will offer access to unreleased images, as well as testimonies from the footballers and coaching staff who made the triumph against Argentina possible in the final played in New Jersey. The objective will be to show the most unknown side of a concentration that lasted 52 days and culminated in one of the greatest successes in the history of Spanish sport.

The docuseries will allow viewers to delve into the group's coexistence during the tournament, showing moments of celebration, tension, effort, and complicity among the 26 internationals and the technical team led throughout the competition. The production promises to reveal how a locker room was forged that, according to the RFEF, ended up functioning "like a family" throughout the World Cup adventure.

In addition to the sporting journey, the documentary will focus on the moments lived behind the scenes, with never-before-seen scenes and privileged access to the daily life of the national team during the championship. The intention is to reconstruct the path that led Spain to conquer a second star that was accompanied by several sporting records.

The new production has been developed by the RFEF in collaboration with Telefónica Broadcast Services and will be available on Prime Video for viewers in more than 200 countries, expanding the international reach of the Spanish national team's success.

With this premiere, the Federation expands its catalog of documentaries dedicated to the national team. The platform already hosts titles such as El sabio del éxito, La Quinta de la quinta, La fuerza del grupo, 10 años de la primera estrella, La Copa de todos and Un equipo llamado España, focused on different moments in the recent history of the national team.

The new docuseries will seek to complete that legacy by offering an intimate look at the last World Cup and a team that, as the RFEF itself highlights, will be remembered "not only for what it achieved, but, above all, for how it conquered it".
