RTVE has decided to reinforce its commitment to the program To heaven with her, presented by Henar Álvarez, moving it from La 2 to La 1 after the success achieved in its second season. The interview and humor format will close its current stage on La 2 this Sunday, March 15, before starting a new phase on the public broadcaster's main channel.

The last program on La 2 will feature Nacho Duato and Lidia San José as guests and will also offer an exclusive preview of the interview with Shakira, which will mark the premiere of the format on La 1.

The channel jump comes after the space consolidated itself as one of RTVE's most viral formats. Since its premiere on RTVE Play in 2024, the program managed to become the platform's best original debut and subsequently confirmed its success on open television with its broadcast on La 2.

The format, which mixes interviews, humor and live music, has stood out for its critical and feminist tone within the late night genre, traditionally dominated by male presenters. In addition, its content has generated a great impact on social media, accumulating hundreds of millions of views and making Henar Álvarez one of the most influential faces of RTVE's new era.

The presence of Shakira as the first guest in this new stage seeks to further boost the program's visibility. The Colombian singer, who is on a full international tour, has chosen this space for one of her first television interviews in Spain in recent years.

With this move, RTVE reinforces its strategy of transferring formats with digital success and on secondary channels to the main channel, consolidating To heaven with her as one of the new pillars of the public broadcaster's entertainment.
