Rueda la Letra still can't find its place on Telecinco's afternoons. On its third day of broadcast, the contest remains at a 7.8% audience share and an average of 602,000 viewers, figures that once again leave the format far from the strength of Pasapalabra, which airs after that time slot.

The program reached 1,302,000 unique viewers, with a loyalty of 46.3%, but its contribution to Telecinco's total audience was barely 5.1%. These figures paint a still uphill start for the Mediaset network.

The gamble is not having the expected takeoff in a particularly complicated time slot for Telecinco. The network once again relies on a word-based and competition-based contest to try to regain ground, but Antena 3 continues to set the pace of the afternoons with Pasapalabra.

The arrival of Rueda la Letra has not been without controversy either. The perceived similarities between both formats have ended up causing a conflict between Atresmedia, ITV, and Mediaset, adding another chapter to a television battle that, for now, is also being fought in the audience meters.
