Telecinco premiered yesterday Monday on its evening schedule Rueda la letra, the new game show presented by Carlos Sobera, with results that leave the format quite far from the records of the main references in the time slot.
The program, which has taken el Rosco - a former challenge from Pasapalabra and one of the most recognizable in its history - as its starting point to build its own proposal, settled for a 9.1% share and an average of 624,000 viewers, while reaching 1,349,000 unique viewers during its first broadcast. A premiere that, despite gathering more than a million people at some point, did not manage to carve out a particularly prominent niche in television afternoons.
Regarding loyalty, Rueda la letra reached 46.3%, while registering a +8.9% in capital gains. Figures that show some capacity to retain part of the audience, although insufficient to present the launch as a major television event.
The premiere will now face the challenge of establishing itself in Telecinco's schedule and demonstrating whether it can improve initial data that, for now, feels insufficient for a channel that needs to find formulas capable of revitalizing its afternoons.
