Pope Leo XIV has starred in an unexpected scene during his visit to the Torrespaña facilities, where he made a brief stop with his entourage to change cars before continuing his agenda in Madrid.
The visit, not scheduled on the official agenda, surprised numerous RTVE workers, who received him with applause and greetings as the pontiff entered the parking area.
In that context, and after being received by some of the staff, Leo XIV responded with a message that caught the attention of those present: “I see you”, spontaneously confirming that he is a regular viewer of public television.

The pontiff's brief stop at Torrespaña, even captured by La 1 cameras, occurred as part of a logistical stop by his entourage, who needed to change vehicles with reinforced security measures before continuing their journey to the Movistar Arena.
The episode adds to a weekend of high news coverage on RTVE, marked by the Pope's visit to Madrid and the high audience figures recorded for the various events on his agenda.
