The broadcast of the victory against France (2-0) on La 1 broke all records and became the most watched broadcast on television since the Euro 2024 final, confirming the enormous drawing power of the National Team in international events like this.
On La 1 alone, the match registered an extraordinary 71.2% audience share and an average of 12,716,000 viewers, while 17.2 million people connected to the broadcast at some point. However, the viewership was even higher when accounting for the simultaneous broadcast on other windows.

The multi-channel broadcast raised the result to a spectacular 81.3% share and 19.3 million unique viewers. Added to La 1's audience were Teledeporte, with a 2.6% share and 460,000 viewers (73.8%); La2Cat, which reached 11.5% in Catalonia with 329,000 viewers; and DAZN, where the match achieved a 5.7% share and gathered 1,009,000 viewers.
The day also brought great results for RTVE's special programming. The pre-game show Camino a Nueva York led its time slot with an 18% share and 1,424,000 viewers, while the special after the victory maintained the audience's enthusiasm by gathering a 40.6% share and 3,537,000 viewers. A demonstration that Spain's historic qualification was not only celebrated on the field, but also in front of the television, on a night that is now part of the recent history of audiences in our country.
