Telecinco recovers one of its most emblematic reality shows. GH VIP will return to the channel with Jorge Javier Vázquez as presenter, as announced by the communicator himself during the broadcast of Supervivientes: Tierra de nadie. "Gran Hermano is back, GH VIP is back!", he proclaimed to confirm the return of the celebrity cohabitation contest.

The format's return comes three years after its last edition, premiered in September 2023. That season concluded with Naomi Asensi as the winner, in an edition that brought together different well-known faces from television and social media.

The announcement was made during the broadcast of Supervivientes: Tierra de nadie in which Jorge Javier Vázquez was accompanied by Isa Pantoja, Rosario Mohedano, Tony Spina and Dámaso Angulo.

With this confirmation, Mediaset recovers one of the most recognizable formats of its programming, which will return with its ninth edition. For now, the channel has not announced the premiere date nor revealed which celebrities will participate in this new season.

When will the new edition premiere?

Although Telecinco has already confirmed the return of GH VIP, the details of its launch are still to be known. The channel has not announced when the broadcasts will begin or which contestants will live together in the house.

For the moment, Jorge Javier Vázquez's announcement confirms the return of the reality show, although we will have to wait for Telecinco to specify the next details of an edition that will mark the return of celebrities to the Gran Hermano house.
