The social media profile of Starwars has published a new teaser for The Mandalorian and Grogu, previewing a story full of action and expansion of the Star Wars universe. The film, directed by Jon Favreau, marks the leap to the big screen for the characters after the success of the series.
The advance places the plot after the fall of the Empire, with the New Republic trying to maintain order while the imperial remnants remain active in the galaxy. In this context, Din Djarin and Grogu are recruited for a new mission that promises to be the most ambitious to date.
The film features a cast led by Pedro Pascal, accompanied by Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White, and will arrive exclusively in theaters on May 22, 2026.
In two months, Star Wars returns to the big screen.
