La 1 has celebrated the 70 years of history of TVE news programs with a special broadcast of El Telediario de Nuestras Vidas that has managed to connect with the audience. The program reached a 16.7% audience share and 2,068,000 average viewers, consolidating itself as one of the night's outstanding offerings.

The special brought together some of the most emblematic faces in the history of RTVE news programs, such as Eduardo Sancho, Iñaki Gabilondo, Matías Prats, Ana Blanco, Pedro Piqueras, Olga Viza, María Escario, Manuel Campo Vidal, Pepa Bueno, Lorenzo Milá and Carlos Franganillo, along with Paco Montesdeoca and Mónica López, linked to weather information.

The interest in this journey through the history of public television is also reflected in its reach: more than 3.7 million viewers connected at some point with the special. A figure that demonstrates the proposal's ability to bring together a wide audience around audiovisual memory and the role of news programs over seven decades.

By age, the broadcast achieved particularly positive results among viewers aged 13 to 24, with an 18.3% share, and those aged 45 to 64, with an 18.2%. The special also stands out in different territories, with Madrid leading, with 21.8%, followed by Castilla y León, with 21.4%, and the Valencian Community, with 21%.

The anniversary coverage also extends to Canal 24 Horas, where the broadcast adds a 1.4% audience share and 178,000 viewers. In this way, RTVE turns the celebration of its seven decades of informative history into an event that transcends La 1 and once again brings the journey of the Telediarios to the forefront for several generations of viewers.
