La Revuelta received this Wednesday the visit of the singer Manuel Carrasco, who attended the space of David Broncano on La 1 of RTVE to present his new album Pueblo salvaje I and review different aspects of his professional career.
During the interview, the artist naturally addressed the issue of money in the program's traditional questions and offered a reflection on his relationship with Hacienda. “I have paid a lot of money to Hacienda, and I have paid it with pleasure”, he pointed out, also defending the importance of the tax system as the basis of the welfare state.
Carrasco went further and vindicated the role of taxes in current society, assuring that it is necessary for those who are in a good economic situation to contribute “willingly” because they allow essential public services such as healthcare, education or pensions to be sustained.
The singer also took advantage of his appearance on the program to present live part of his new work and share with the public his vision of the vital and artistic moment he is going through, in an interview marked by the usual relaxed tone of Broncano's space.
