Prime Video prepares fans for a season 2 of Su Majestad full of twists, laughs and new faces that promise to revolutionize the court.
The series, created by Borja Cobeaga and Diego San José, confirms the return of Anna Castillo as Pilar, now converted into the queen of Spain, and of Ernesto Alterio as Guillermo, while Leonor Watling and Ángela Cervantes join the cast in roles that will shake up the dynamic of the royal family.
Production is already underway with six episodes that promise intrigue, humor, and unexpected situations, filmed in palaces and historic settings that mix tradition with contemporary satire. In this second installment, Pilar has just been crowned queen, but inherits the rejection of a large part of the country towards the monarchy. Determined to change everything, she will have to face allies like Guillermo, discover forbidden loves and find unexpected support in Amanda, her father's ex-lover. Between protocol and rebellion, she will soon discover that transforming the monarchy is not as easy as it seems.
Released on February 27, 2025, Her Majesty established itself as one of Spain's most talked-about comedies, and Prime Video is betting big on this second installment to build loyalty with the audience and see what new troubles and controversies Pilar will get into, this time as queen of the country.
