La Séptima already has its programming defined with which it will begin its broadcasts on DTT. Less than a week before its premiere, scheduled for next Thursday, November 5, the channel promoted by José Miguel Contreras and directed by Javier Ruiz has confirmed the nine spaces that will be part of its initial grid. All will be self-produced and eight will be broadcast live. The only exception will be La séptima pantalla, a proposal that will combine cinema and conversation.

La Séptima's programming from Monday to Friday

The channel will have five daily programs to accompany viewers from noon until prime time:

  • 12:00 hours. El Pulso, with Verónica Sanz, will open the programming.

  • After-lunch slot. En Línea, with Sarah Santaolalla, will take over.

  • Afternoon. Sobre la mesa, presented by Rocío Delgado, will occupy the first afternoon slot.

  • Afternoon. La Diana, with Noor Ben Yessef, will continue the offer.

  • Prime time. Javier Ruiz will close the day with La última hora, dedicated to compiling and analyzing current events.

The three weekend programs

The Saturday and Sunday offer will incorporate a more entertainment-focused aspect, with three formats hosted by some of the channel's well-known faces:

  • Morning. Fin de semana, with Luján Argüelles.

  • After-lunch slot. La comedia nacional, presented by Héctor de Miguel.

  • Afternoon. Fuera de control, with Alba Carrillo and Marta Márquez.

This is how La Séptima's only pre-recorded program will be

Saturday nights will be reserved for La séptima pantalla, the only space that will not be broadcast live. The program will start at 9:00 p.m. with a presentation of the central theme of the film chosen for each installment. Afterwards, the full-length film will be screened without commercial breaks.

After the film, there will be a discussion with invited experts, who will use the story as a starting point to address the issues it raises. Each week, one of the channel's presenters will be in charge of leading the debate.

La Séptima will begin its broadcasts on November 5 at 12:00 hours, from its facilities in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid). The channel can be watched openly throughout Spain via DTT, without the need to retune televisions.
