La Séptima faces the final stretch before its arrival on DTT with its staff increasingly defined. The new channel promoted by José Miguel Contreras prepares its landing on free-to-air television while it finishes closing the teams that will be in charge of its different programs. To the nine main faces already announced, an important list of journalists and professionals from RTVE, La Sexta, and Cadena SER has now been 'fished'.

The new channel is incorporating experienced workers from some of the main current affairs programs on Spanish television. Among them are professionals who have been part of Mañaneros 360, Malas Lenguas, or Directo al grano, as well as journalists linked to La Sexta Noticias, La Sexta Clave, Todo es mentira, El programa de Ana Rosa, or Informativos Telecinco. The operation thus represents a significant movement of pieces in television newsrooms.

One of the main arrivals comes from Mañaneros 360. Javier Ruiz has taken a good part of the political team that worked with him on the RTVE program. Joining this group are Pedro Gómez and Carla Acuña, specialized in courts, as well as Marta Hita, María Escolar, Pablo Collantes, Arantxa de Fez, Cristina Cañedo, and Emilio Pacho. They are professionals with experience in political information, courts, and current affairs, many of them also with experience in other programs and channels.

La Séptima has also closed the arrival of several journalists who have recently passed through Directo al grano. This is the case of José Araque, also known for his work on En boca de todos and Ya es mediodía, who has even appeared alongside Luján Argüelles in one of the new channel's promotions. Also joining are Ana Francisco, with experience in Todo es mentira and Caiga quién caiga, and Pablo Montes, from Cadena SER.

The arrival is not limited to RTVE. From La Sexta come Gloria Mena and Sara Rincón. Mena, linked for years to the Atresmedia channel, has worked as a reporter and substitute presenter for La Sexta Noticias, while Rincón has worked on La Sexta Clave and La Sexta Noticias and has covered events such as the war in Ukraine and the eviction of Maricarmen.

Other profiles with experience in reference media are added to this list. Meteorologist Adrián Cordero, who has worked for La Sexta, Cadena SER, and TV Canaria, also joins the project. Pablo Anzola comes from the Economy section of SER, after his time at Antena 3 Noticias. For his part, Sergio Parra, who has worked as a writer and reporter on Todo es mentira and Demos: el gran sondeo, has also confirmed his arrival at the new channel.

With these additions, La Séptima continues to shape a newsroom that relies on professionals with experience in political information, current affairs, courts, and reporting. The channel thus faces its last weeks before its premiere on DTT, scheduled for a particularly relevant time due to the proximity of the general elections on November 29.

Quequé, Ignatius, Mariang, and Marina Lobo, at the helm of 'La comedia nacional'

But La Séptima is not only reinforcing its newsrooms. The new channel also continues to shape its entertainment formats. Among the latest confirmations, the name of La comedia nacional stands out, which will have Héctor de Miguel 'Quequé' as presenter and will feature Ignatius Farray, Mariang, and Marina Lobo.

Marina Lobo has precisely explained the philosophy that this space intends to imbue, defending humor as a tool to interpret current events. "In such an absurd world where everything seems to be the apocalypse, current events are sometimes better understood from the absurd than from objective reality itself," she pointed out.
