A few months after its launch, La Séptima continues to unveil what the project with which it intends to make its way into the Spanish audiovisual landscape will be like. The channel has published a manifesto in the form of seven principles in which it defines the bases of its future programming and makes it clear that its commitment will be to current affairs, live broadcasts and a presence that will go beyond traditional television.

One of the central messages of the document is its will to become "the generalist television of the future", making it clear that it is not a temporary project. "Ours is not a summer fling. I am not afraid of the horizon or of building something long-term", states the channel, which also announces that its content will be present on multiple platforms because, it argues, "television no longer fits on a single screen".

The channel also places live broadcasting as its main hallmark. "Unfiltered. Unedited. For better or for worse", summarizes La Séptima, which also assures that its schedule will be marked by daily information and not by rigid structures. "We don't program formats. We program current affairs", states the manifesto, with which the channel promises a flexible offer linked to current news.

Among its commitments is also to maintain constant communication with viewers, publicly explain its decisions and foster debate with the audience. The text concludes with a message of editorial tone: "Our country is too important to leave it in the hands of the angry", before saying goodbye with a nod to its name and its future broadcast: "So… At your house at seven?".
