Manu Sánchez premiered this Thursday on La 1 de RTVE his new program, El perro andaluz, with a powerful declaration of intentions in which he mixed humor, music, and social vindication from the first minute. The presenter opened the broadcast connected from Seville after the inaugural World Cup match, in a start marked by the festive tone and the symbolic load of the format, with a parodic tint to Bad Bunny's show at the SuperBowl Half Time.
During his opening monologue, Sánchez defended the periphery, accents, and cultural diversity of the country, in addition to delivering a speech full of personal and social references. “I love the periphery, diversity, accents, joy,” he proclaimed, before vindicating the role of public health and his life trajectory. “I'm here now, barking is for you. Let's take a selfie, sanchis! And tell something about me. I love the periphery, diversity, accents, joy. Against centralism I rebel every day. Universal priority born in Andalusia. I am from Dos Hermanas, a great town. The "no ni ná" is my religion. And I have a very bastard bug inside. I die with Triana and Camarón. It was María Jiménez who gave me her blessing. Long live free Andalusia, it sounds on your television today”.
The communicator defined the space as a program “with less fear and shame in the universe,” with the intention of entertaining and making people reflect at the same time. The premiere brought together representatives from the 17 autonomous communities and the two autonomous cities in a message of unity that set the tone for this new RTVE venture.

The debut featured two exceptional godfathers: the Andalusian singer Manuel Carrasco and the former Cantabrian president Miguel Ángel Revilla, who accompanied Sánchez in a first installment designed to combine entertainment and current affairs from a broad territorial perspective. The program is born as one of the channel's big bets for weekly prime time.
