Political news once again became an important draw for viewers thanks to the visit of the Minister of Economy, Carlos Cuerpo, to La Hora de La 1, the news program hosted by Aida Bao and Álex Barreiro, who are replacing Intxuarrondo during the summer season.
The interview allowed the program to register a notable 17.8% audience share, in addition to gathering more than 300,000 average viewers throughout the broadcast, reflecting the interest aroused by the conversation with the minister.
The reach of the program was even greater, bringing together 1.3 million unique viewers, expanding its following among the morning audience and reinforcing the weight of the format within RTVE's news offering.
Added to this is a 17.6% surplus value for La 1, an indicator that demonstrates the program's ability to boost the channel's performance when political and economic news sets the agenda.
