Tom Holland continues to draw all eyes during his visit to Madrid. In the midst of the promotional tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, whose premiere is scheduled for next July 29, the British actor was in charge of inaugurating this Monday the Plaza Selección, the space promoted by the RFEF in the Plaza de Colón so that fans can follow Spain's matches during the World Cup.

During the event, Holland did not spare praise for the team led by Luis de la Fuente. The actor assured that the Spanish national team is one of the most attractive teams in the tournament and stressed that "Spanish football is the pinnacle of success". In addition, he stated that he especially enjoys watching Spain play due to their offensive and spectacular style.

Although he acknowledged his admiration for 'La Roja', the actor recalled that his heart is still with England, who will debut in the championship against Croatia. Holland also confessed to being a football fan since childhood, declared his admiration for Lionel Messi and fondly recalled the classics between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, admitting that he is not able to choose between the two teams.

The event also featured the presence of Joselu, who presented the Spider-Man protagonist with a personalized Spanish national team jersey. Holland responded by gifting him a commemorative jersey from the new film. His appearance in Madrid comes after being seen with Zendaya on the streets of the capital and before his anticipated visit today Tuesday to El Hormiguero, where both will continue to promote one of the most anticipated films of the summer.
