The panel of Universal Pictures at the CinemaCon de Las Vegas has left one of its most commented moments with the presentation of the trailer for Now the in-laws are them, the new installment of the well-known comedy franchise that reunites Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller in their original roles, with the incorporation of Ariana Grande as the main new addition to the cast.

The film recovers the universe of the saga initiated with Los padres de ella, where Greg Focker (Stiller) had to earn the trust of the strict Jack Byrnes (De Niro). On this occasion, the story takes a generational turn: Stiller's character faces his son's relationship with the young woman played by Grande, while the family dynamic marked by distrust and misunderstandings continues.
The trailer, shown during the event, includes scenes in which Ariana Grande's character faces De Niro's already classic lie detector, in a tone that mixes comedy and family tension. The film, directed by John Hamburg, will arrive in theaters on November 27 and marks the return of one of the most popular comedy sagas of recent decades.
