Gonzalo Miró and Esther Palomera have an unexpected date tonight with viewers of La 1. TVE has chosen the two presenters to host a special 'Malas Lenguas Noche', which will start this Friday, October 2, at 10:15 PM, after Pepa Bueno's 'Telediario 2'. The public channel thus reinforces its commitment to the program on a day marked by Congress's rejection of the two housing decrees and the possibility of an early election.
The change affects a large part of the schedule. 'Malas Lenguas' extends its afternoon broadcast until 8:55 PM and occupies the slot of 'Aquí la Tierra', while Bueno's news program will extend its coverage until the start of the special. 'Valle Salvaje' and 'La Promesa' maintain their episodes and the France-Italy UEFA Nations League match moves to La 2. The priority will be to follow the consequences of the vote, the housing protests, and Pedro Sánchez's next moves, who is weighing over the weekend whether to call elections.

Miró has announced the broadcast of 'Directo al grano' with a quite clear diagnosis. "Things are very hot", he explained when referring to the mobilizations and the scenario opened after the plenary session. With the idea that "current events rule", the presenter and Palomera will interview the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, Félix Bolaños, on set. "I don't know if he will be able to tell us something about what Pedro Sánchez plans to do starting Monday," Miró said, leaving one of the main attractions of the night.
The bet comes at a good time for the format. This Thursday, Miró and Palomera reached an 8.2% and 569,000 average viewers on La 2, while the La 1 broadcast, with Miró and Ana Hinestrosa, obtained a 10.5% and 839,000 viewers. The night version also has a recent precedent to celebrate. On Saturday, September 26, Jesús Cintora's special on La 1 achieved its historical maximum with 13.9% and 831,000 viewers, favored by being broadcast after the match between England and Spain.
Tonight there will be double competition, both informative and entertainment. Antonio García Ferreras will host a special of 'Al Rojo Vivo' starting at 9:30 PM on laSexta, which replaces 'laSexta Columna' and 'Equipo de investigación'. On Antena 3, the auditions of 'La Voz' continue, while Telecinco features Belén Esteban on the set of '¡De Viernes!'. Miró and Palomera will face two strong entertainment bets and another channel attentive to the same latest political news.
TVE's coverage will continue on Saturday, with monitoring throughout the morning on La 1 and Canal 24 Horas until 1:00 PM and in the weekend news. Jesús Cintora will take over 'Malas Lenguas Noche', which will start at 9:30 PM on La 2 and move to La 1 at 10:35 PM, after the Spain-Czech Republic UEFA Nations League match. The episodes of 'La amiga estupenda' scheduled on La 1 will be moved to La 2.
