Andalucía differs from the behavior of the real estate market in the country as a whole and becomes the only autonomous community where the rental price has decreased in the last year. According to the data reflected in the graph, the fall reaches 4.9%, in contrast with the increase registered in the rest of the territories, according to data provided by 'Cinco Días'.
This decrease coincides with the management of the Andalusian Government chaired by Juanma Moreno, who has defended in recent months measures aimed at increasing housing supply and containing prices. From the Junta, it has been insisted that the rental problem requires policies that incentivize the market and avoid restrictions that may reduce the availability of housing.
Meanwhile, communities like Castilla-La Mancha, Aragón or Extremadura lead the most pronounced increases, exceeding in some cases 8% and 10%. Meanwhile, communities with strong real estate pressure like Madrid, Baleares and Canarias register significant rental increases, standing approximately around 4% in the case of Madrid and exceeding 5% in the islands.
