The president of the People's Party of Andalusia and candidate for re-election at the head of the Junta, Juanma Moreno, has unveiled this Monday in Antequera the electoral program of his party for the upcoming regional elections. He has defined it as a true “government program”, as it is based on the accumulated experience during his more than seven years at the head of the Andalusian Executive.
The document includes more than 1,900 measures organized into four large blocks and, as Moreno explained, is born with an open and participatory character. It will remain available until May 17 with the aim of incorporating contributions from groups, entities, and organizations. The leader has stressed that the proposal seeks to be realistic: “It is about explaining what can be done now and what can be done later,” avoiding generating expectations that cannot be met.
During his speech in Antequera, a city he has described as “the heart of Andalusia” and a symbol of the consensus that allowed full autonomy, Moreno has highlighted that the central objective of the program is to continue improving the community thinking about the next generations. In this regard, he has defended a “coherent and solid” project, supported by management experience and the intention to continue promoting changes in the region.
Our strength comes from the heart. This May 17, VOTE PP!

The first of the axes focuses on economic growth and the generation of opportunities. Moreno has assured that Andalusia has maintained a growth rate superior to that of Spain as a whole since his arrival to the government, mentioning an increase in GDP of 13%, a rise of 30% in household income and the creation of nearly 600,000 jobs. In his opinion, these data reflect the future potential of the community.
Within this section, the program contemplates measures to boost digitalization, industrial development, and technological innovation. Likewise, it includes the commitment to increase investment in R&D+i to reach 2% of GDP in the next legislature, with the intention of positioning Andalusia among the most advanced regions in research both in Spain and in the European Union.
