Juanma Moreno vindicates the stability of the PP: “I do not want to govern with Vox, the Andalusians will decide”

The president of the Junta de Andalucía and candidate of the Partido Popular for re-election, Juanma Moreno, defended this Friday in Cádiz his model of “stability, security and coexistence” for Andalucía and made clear that his objective continues to be to govern alone. “I have no will to govern with Vox, but it is the citizens who are going to decide it,” he affirmed during an event organized by 'Europa Press Andalucía'.

Moreno insisted that the final decision corresponds exclusively to the Andalusians and guaranteed that he would accept the electoral result one hundred percent. "That is the power of the vote and the wonder of democracy, the power to decide," said the popular leader, who appealed to the mobilization of moderate voters to consolidate a stable government in the autonomous community.

The Andalusian president also wanted to highlight the tone of harmony and moderation that, he argued, has characterized his period at the head of the Junta. “If we want harmony, right now the only option for harmony is us”, affirmed Moreno, who asked to concentrate the vote on the PP to avoid political uncertainties and maintain an Executive focused on the economic and social management of Andalucía.

Regarding Vox, Moreno criticized some of its proposals for considering that they offer “easy solutions to very difficult problems”. The Andalusian president described as “catchy slogan” proposals such as the so-called “national priority” and recalled that any measure must comply with the Statute of Autonomy and the Constitution. “I am seeing unreal and even illegal proposals, and that is deceiving citizens,” he warned.

In a future key, Juanma Moreno defended the need to consolidate the Popular Party's project in Andalusia in the long term and assured that his objective is to leave a stronger and more stable community. “I don't want my presence in Andalusia to be ephemeral, but for the PP to consolidate here as a majority force for many years”, concluded the Andalusian president, claiming the continuity of “serious and liberal projects” for the community.
