Pepa Millán leaves all doors open before Moreno's second investiture attempt in Andalusia: "There is still time to negotiate and nothing is lost"

The spokesperson for Vox in Congress, Pepa Rodríguez de Millán, has not finished clarifying the meaning of her group's vote in the Andalusian Parliament after the second attempt for the investiture of the acting president of the Junta and PP candidate for re-election, Juanma Moreno because "there is still time to negotiate and nothing is lost yet," says Pepa.

Rodríguez de Millán spoke in an interview just hours before Moreno undergoes the second investiture vote before the Plenary of Parliament this Thursday, with the doubt of whether an agreement between PP and Vox will be reached beforehand, a party from which he needs the votes to be invested as head of the Andalusian Executive. "Vox will not negotiate in the media, nor in press conferences, nor anything of the sort. We want this negotiation to be carried out as discreetly as possible, also so that it is as serious and as quick as possible, because our ambition is to make the votes of all Andalusians who voted for us in the last elections count and to carry out that change of government that was demanded on May 17," she stated.

Furthermore, Pepa Rodríguez explained that Vox has asked for "measures accompanied by guarantees and deadlines for their fulfillment and then eventually the responsibility that each one may have within the future government." Subsequently, she added: "That's where we are, there is still time to continue negotiating and bring that agreement forward, which we consider very important, so we refer to this afternoon's vote and the statements of our spokespersons there."

Regarding the conversations with the PP in Andalusia, the Vox spokesperson highlighted that: "There is still time to negotiate and nothing is lost yet, that is the hope we have, to be able to bring that government forward and for it to become a bastion against the Sánchez government, as it is doing in Castilla y León, Aragón and Extremadura, and as we hope it will also be in Andalusia."

As she explained, Vox's main objective in the negotiation is to ensure that the PP abandons the "following of socialist policies in Andalusia, and there is much to do, Andalusians are asking for a real change, and that it must be carried out hand in hand with Vox." And finally, the spokesperson vindicated the importance of national priority when articulating public policies, also rejecting "all ideological policies."
