The Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, harshly criticized this Saturday against the demonstration held in Madrid for the resignation of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, after images of the protest with Francoist references and the presence of figures linked to the media and ultra-right were disseminated. “They called it March for Dignity!!!”, he wrote ironically on the social network X along with several photographs taken during the mobilization.

The most controversial image shows a demonstrator carrying a large banner with a photograph of Francisco Franco and the message: “General Franco thank you for four decades of security, tranquility, love and discipline. Long live Spain”. Puente also shared another snapshot in which appears Esperanza Aguirre leading the protest, in addition to a third image in which the agitator Bertrand Ndongo interviews Víctor de Aldama while appears Daniel Esteve, founder of Desokupa.
