The newspaper 'ElPlural' has revealed the details of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's new home in Puerta de Hierro, where the Madrid president moved this Monday after leaving the Chamberí apartment she shared with Alberto González Amador. The move has been corroborated by 'El País', which cites two sources familiar with the move.

The new home is located in a four-building urbanization in one of the most affluent areas of the Moncloa-Aravaca district. The property has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a swimming pool, large green areas, a gym, and a garage space. 'ElPlural' speaks of more than 110 square meters and about 60 additional meters of common elements, while 'El País' places its surface area between 130 and 150 meters.

The real estate listings consulted describe the complex as an "excellent urbanization in Puerta de Hierro" with easy access from its main entrance. The exact location and complete images of the complex have been kept out of the published information to protect the president's security and privacy.

The price also does not go unnoticed. 'ElPlural' estimates that the rent for a property of these characteristics ranges between 1,920 and 2,230 euros per month, while 'El País' raises the market range to 2,500 or 3,000 euros. The specific amount Ayuso pays for her contract has not been revealed.

A move after the sale of González Amador's apartments

The president leaves behind the property where she had lived for the last few years with González Amador, a sixth floor in Chamberí connected to the penthouse located just above. The businessman put both properties on the market for a combined price of 3.4 million euros, with 1.9 million for the main apartment and another 1.63 million for the penthouse.

The change of address has fueled rumors about a possible breakup, although neither of them has publicly confirmed it. As 'ElConstitucional.es' has published, sources from the PP of Madrid assure that the party is studying making visible the distancing between Ayuso and her partner given the progress of the judicial proceedings affecting the businessman.

According to those same sources, from the popular environment, the president would have been recommended to distance herself personally and judicially to reduce the wear and tear that the trial against González Amador could cause her. Her partner is prosecuted for two alleged tax crimes and another of document forgery related to more than 350,000 euros defrauded during the years 2020 and 2021. The Prosecutor's Office requests three years and nine months in prison.

The public penthouse that worsened Ayuso's summer

The move also coincides with the controversy over the 485-square-meter penthouse acquired in April by the Community of Madrid for 6.3 million euros. The regional government initially maintained that it would serve as a provisional office during the works of the Real Casa de Correos, although the property lacks authorization to function as an office or presidential residence.

The operation became known when González Amador had put his two properties up for sale, a coincidence that has increased questions about the destination the public property would receive. Ayuso assures that both decisions are unrelated and that she never intended to use the penthouse as an official residence.

After weeks of contradictory explanations, the Community announced that it would put the property up for sale for 6.7 million euros and dedicate the funds obtained to the recovery of the municipalities affected by the July fires. The Madrid Executive continues without publishing the complete file of a purchase that has opened one of Ayuso's biggest political crises during this legislature.

Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, the president's chief of staff, refused to clarify to 'ElPlural' whether Ayuso was looking for this new home and framed the matter within her "private life". The move to Puerta de Hierro has already taken place, while Sol maintains silence about the distancing from González Amador and the future of the relationship.
