The roads cut in some sections in the Valencian Community due to storms have risen to 17, with a total of 25 affected road sections, according to the latest update from the Ministry of Infrastructures, with data from 08:59 hours. The incidents continue to be concentrated in Marina Alta (Alicante) and Safor (Valencia), and have also extended to Ribera Alta (Valencia).

In Ribera Alta, the latest problems have been registered due to flooding in Carcaixent, where CV-570 and CV-571 have been cut off. These new closures are added to the list of roads already affected by the rain episode.

Marina Alta accumulates the highest number of affected sections

In Marina Alta, local road 7420, 7421 —with two sections, in Arenal and the Xaló river—, CV-700 —also with two affected points, in La Vall de Gallinera and Pego—, CV-723, CV-727 —with two sections— and CV-747 at the height of Xàbia remain cut off due to flooding.

In addition, CV-728 has added a second cut section in Pego, while on CV-740 the closure due to water between El Poble Nou de Benitatxell and Xàbia is maintained.

Safor maintains several water cuts

In Safor, CV-670, CV-682 between La Font d'En Carròs and Rafelcofer, CV-683 between Beniflà and Oliva, CV-686, and N-332, which has two flooded sections in Oliva and Bellreguard, remain cut off due to flooding.

Also, CV-678 registers three cut sections between Pego and Safor, while CV-715 maintains two sections closed due to water in the municipality of Pego.

Reopenings and roads with conditioned circulation

In the reopenings section, roads that presented landslides or fallen trees on CV-710, CV-737, CV-743, CV-755 and the first section of CV-740 have been reopened to traffic.

On the other hand, general problems or conditioned circulation continue to be registered on other roads in the network due to water accumulation and landslides, such as CV-60 in Palma de Gandia (Valencia), the access from CV-50 to N-332 in Safor, the corridor between Picassent and Silla in l'Horta Sud (Valencia), CV-701 in Beniarrés (Alicante), CV-760 in La Nucia (Alicante) and CV-721 in Fleix (Alicante).

Other sections with incidents due to water and landslides

CV-747 presents general problems between kilometer points 0.77 and 2.63 due to flooding, while sections of CV-700 in La Vall de Gallinera and CV-715 in Pego continue to be affected by landslides. In addition, CV-500 between València and Ribera Baixa (Valencia) maintains incidents due to a fallen pine tree.
