The former vice president of the Government and former general secretary of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, starred last Wednesday in a viral confrontation with Vito Quiles in the middle of the street in Zaragoza, after the agitator heckled him as he left a political event. Following the line of the self-proclaimed journalist's usual procedure, he once again crosses the line and harasses Pablo Iglesias until he formulates an illogical question, but one that has gone viral: "What do you think about your wife saying that she is going to replace right-wing people with illegal immigrants?". To which the former politician replied "fascist" and "pig" and tried to grab the microphone of 'EDA TV', the channel where Javier Negre works.

Pablo's response provoked an interaction that followed Vito's reply on his personal X profile: "Today you couldn't knock the microphone out of my hand, man, you're losing your touch, man. Tell Irene to make you a Cola Cao before bed".

Debunking the Vito Quiles Hoax

As he has already accustomed us, Vito asked a question without any kind of coherence or legal or informational backing, but as always to awaken fear among social media users

From 'El Constitucional' we clarified that the hoax spread and propagated by the far-right about the extraordinary regularization of migrants in Spain and as Elon Musk already tried, the measure does not imply the the measure does not imply the automatic granting of residence permits nor an immediate legal change for the entire migrant population.

The extraordinary regularization agreement for migrants in Spain does not imply automatically granting them residence permits or political rights without meeting requirements; it is a process that will allow the situation of people already residing in the country to be legalized, with conditions such as proving time of residence, and it does not automatically grant any additional rights beyond what is provided for in current regulations.
