On the night of Saturday, January 10, the 'Army Awards' were held, awards driven by the controversial content creator Ceciarmy and presented by actor Santiago Segura. The event brought together different viral profiles from the digital sphere. The self-proclaimed 'anti-awards' combined activities, music, and meetings through an unscripted format that aimed to give visibility to internet fakes.

The controversy erupted when the far-right agitator Vito Quiles, who has gone viral for harassing various representatives of the political spectrum of the left—or what he considers to be—received the award in the "couple of the year" category alongside Gabriel Rufián, who was not present and has not yet commented on social media.

When Quiles took the stage, the attendees cheered him to the tune of "Pedro Sánchez, son of a bitch," honoring his social media messages, such as the one that has earned him a lawsuit, inciting the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to kidnap our president. A tweet he has not yet deleted.

Several profiles (viral despite not having attended the ceremony) have commented on this event and defined it as "lamentable," as the attendees were not mere citizens with hundreds of followers on their profiles, but rather 'influential' people with millions of followers, mostly minors. A stoning at a social event to foster irrational hatred.

Upon hearing these shouts, Vito Quiles smiles at the audience and accepts the award with the shout "Long live free Venezuela"... "without intending to politicize, which RTVE already does every day, there is a great generation of young people here, content creators, people whom I value and admire greatly, and ultimately social media is a forum for freedom, a space we cannot lose, especially because it is what I believe Spain needs, freedom and content creators who can publish whatever the hell they want without any politician of the day coming to censor them, to fire them, or to tell them they can't say whatever they want, so cheers to you all"... "what they had told me about Ceciarmy is that he steals some videos, but well, the PSOE steals more and nobody does anything".

His speech highlights the lack of his own content without mentioning a "common" target that he himself has constructed on social media, a platform that, he claims, lacks freedom. Once again, he appeals for mobilization to fuel confrontation and reinforce a narrative of victimization that allows him to maintain visibility and support among his followers.
