Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to Madrid this Thursday to meet with Pedro Sánchez and take advantage of the Ibero-American Summit to hold meetings with several leaders present in the capital, in a visit that will have as a backdrop Spain's political support for Ukraine.
Government sources have specified that Sánchez will receive the Ukrainian president late in the afternoon at Moncloa. It will be his fifth visit to Spain since the Russian invasion of February 2022, and the objective of the meeting will be to reaffirm Spanish support for Kyiv.
An agenda parallel to the summit, but with the list of interlocutors still open
Before that meeting, once the Ibero-American Summit concludes early in the afternoon, Zelensky plans to meet with several of the attending leaders to exchange impressions on the situation of his country, its global effects, and the main challenges for international peace and security.

For the moment, it is not clear with which presidents he will hold these contacts. The leaders of Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic have traveled to Madrid, in addition to the president and prime minister of Portugal, although sources have not yet detailed the complete agenda of these meetings.
