The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has publicly defended the singer Julio Iglesias after an investigation was published in which two former employees accuse him of sexual assault while working in his Caribbean mansions. Ayuso stated that the Community of Madrid "will never contribute to the discrediting of artists, much less of the most universal singer of all," in direct reference to Iglesias.
The raped and attacked women are in Iran, with the complicit silence of the far-left.

The Community of Madrid will never contribute to the discrediting of artists, and even less so, of the most universal singer of all: Julio Iglesias.
The leader also responded to the opposition's demands—which had called for the withdrawal of distinctions such as the Gold Medal of the Community of Madrid awarded to Iglesias in 2018—with a message that seeks to dissociate any institutional action from public questioning of the artist.
The accusations against Julio Iglesias, published by elDiario.es along with Univision Noticias, include testimonies from former employees who describe situations of harassment, groping, and pressure to have sexual relations during their domestic service.
