The ultra agitator Vito Quiles passed off hundreds of toys donated by Valencian families during the DANA as purchased

The one-ton truck with which Vito Quiles tries to defend himself against the investigation for an alleged scam contained hundreds of toys delivered directly by Valencian families. The ultra agitator has used these images in recent days to assure that the contributions requested from his followers were used to buy gifts for children affected by the DANA.

Rubén Sánchez, Secretary General of FACUA, revealed this Friday exclusively on 'Malas Lenguas', TVE's magazine, that the direct delivery of toys was the way that allowed the largest quantity of products to be collected. This collection worked separately from the economic transfers that Quiles asked to deposit into his personal bank account.

The data strikes the main public argument used by Quiles since the Seville Prosecutor's Office decided to initiate judicial proceedings. The agitator has presented the loaded truck as proof of his innocence and has implied that that ton of toys had been acquired thanks to the money received. He has also harshly attacked FACUA and the prosecutor responsible for the proceedings.

Hundreds of toys came from direct delivery

The campaign promoted by Quiles at the beginning of January 2025 offered two forms of collaboration. His followers could transfer money to a bank account or directly deliver toys to the facilities of Levantina de Seguridad, a company founded by José Luis Roberto, historical leader of the far-right organization España 2000.

The in-person collection remained open in Valencia between January 3 and 5. While it was still underway, Quiles himself published a video assuring that they had already received "hundreds of toys". These gifts were contributed by families and subsequently placed in boxes to be loaded onto the truck used during distribution.

The images disseminated by the agitator also show a purchase made in a commercial establishment. As Rubén Sánchez explained in 'Malas Lenguas', the pallet seen leaving the store contained six boxes of PVC balls with an approximate price of between three and five euros per unit.

Sánchez clarified that those balls did not necessarily have to be the only purchase made with the financial contributions. His complaint is directed against the image conveyed by Quiles that the entire load had been acquired with that money. "What he intended to imply is that he bought absolutely everything. He would have bought that ton of toys with the money, and that's not the case," he explained.

The amount raised through transfers and the amount actually used to buy gifts remain unknown. Nor is there a public accounting that clearly separates the toys donated by families, those acquired with followers' money, and any amount that might have remained in the account.

The tenth criminal proceeding against Vito Quiles

The investigation began after a complaint filed by FACUA on July 20. The organization warned that Quiles was using the same bank account for the solidarity campaign in which he had been receiving contributions for years to finance his personal activity.

The agitator also did not ask donors to include a specific concept in the transfers. The money for the children affected by the DANA was thus mixed with the rest of the amounts Quiles received for his projects, his activity on social media, or his personal expenses.

The Prosecutor's Office considers that this system could mislead people who made payments thinking that their contribution would exclusively have a social purpose. The decree states that the amounts were at the disposal of the ultra agitator and it was impossible to know how much money he had received, what part he had used for toys, and what profit had been obtained.

The Public Prosecutor's Office has found evidence of a possible crime of fraud and has transferred the facts to the Instruction Section of the Court of Instance of Seville. This new action has become the tenth criminal proceeding accumulated by the ultra agitator, who already faces other cases for alleged slander, crimes against honor, revelation of secrets, harassment, hate, and fraud.

Quiles has responded to the complaint with insults against FACUA and has called Rubén Sánchez a "subsidized cockroach". The toy truck continues to occupy the center of his defense, although the 'Malas Lenguas' exclusive has now clarified that hundreds of those gifts came directly from the hands of Valencian families. The court must follow the trail of the money deposited in his account and determine how much was raised and what its destination was.
