Several far-right groups mobilized after the massive entry of people from Morocco into Ceuta, presenting themselves as those who should "save" the city. Organizations such as Núcleo Nacional and figures like Alvise Pérez or Vito Quiles launched numerous calls on social media to travel to the autonomous city and act in the face of the migratory crisis. However, their arrival was not well received by the residents, who responded with shouts such as "Vito Quiles, son of a bitch", forcing them to leave the area amidst boos.
Despite the rejection shown by a part of the Ceuta citizenry, Vito Quiles did find a warm welcome among leaders of the Popular Party. Upon his arrival in Ceuta, he was received by the PP spokesperson in Congress, Miguel Tellado, and by the party's deputy secretary of Economy, Juan Bravo, in images that have reignited criticism for the closeness of popular leaders to the ultra agitator.

Feijóo calls the ultra
The closeness between Vito Quiles and the Popular Party had already become evident months ago. In an interview granted to 'El Mundo', the ultra agitator admitted to having voted for Vox in the last elections, assured that he had received proposals from both the PP and Santiago Abascal's party, and revealed that "Feijóo has called me personally and that is something to be grateful for".
During the conversation, Quiles avoided revealing whether he preferred to join the PP or Vox, although he stated that he continued to receive offers from different political spheres. "I'm not going to say it because it would cause a mess, but as of today I continue to receive private offers. They tell me they count on me. I don't rule out a political future, I never have, but right now I'm not interested", he explained.
The agitator also took advantage of the interview to publicly thank the support received from the Popular Party. "I am very grateful to the Popular Party because they have treated me very well, they have defended me when things have happened to me and Feijóo has even called me personally and that is something to be grateful for. I am happy in that sense, but I continue doing my job", he stated.
The ultra dines with PP senators
It is not the first time that the relationship between Quiles and the Popular Party has generated controversy. A few months ago, 'ElPlural' exclusively published that the agitator recorded a video from the office of the PP deputy for Valencia, Alma Alfonso, in which he announced a complaint against Begoña Gómez after having harassed her. That information reinforced another exclusive previously disseminated by Mañaneros 360, which revealed that Quiles had dined with three PP senators just 24 hours before the incident starring the wife of the President of the Government.
According to journalist Loreto Ochando, the video was recorded in the office of the popular parliamentarian in the Congress of Deputies. The media tried to get Alma Alfonso's version, although they could only speak with her for a minute and, subsequently, received no further answers. Nor did they receive a reply from the press officer of the Popular Group in Congress or from the head of communication of the PP at the Génova 13 headquarters.
