The Popular Party of Alberto Núñez Feijóo has shown no limits. After the controversy generated by the publication of a video by the Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso of the political analyst Sarah Santaolalla to try to ridicule her, far from criticizing or rectifying the move, they have praised it.
This Monday afternoon, Ayuso's PP uploaded a video to its X account in which Santaolalla could be seen when she was 17 years old, a minor, enjoying village festivals with her friends. In this context, 'ElConstitucional.es' has contacted the president's chief of staff, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, who has diverted the focus of the controversy, stating: "I don't know what you're talking about."
Sarah Santaolalla has responded to the video by directly appealing to the leader of the party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, whom she asked: "Where is your limit? Have you gone crazy? What is a political party doing taking a video of a 17-year-old girl with her underage friends at the village festivals? The difference is that I paid for my leisure and we pay for your luxury penthouse."

Hours after this media's conversation with Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, Feijóo's national PP has not only not backed down, but has praised and applauded the move by the Madrid 'populars'.
Through the party's official X account, they have rescued the 'El País' news story on this matter to retort: "The Government has stolen with both hands. Bribes, chistorras, jewels and gold. Prostitution and hitmen. All with the money of hard-working people."
Along these same lines, they have continued to endorse the action, once again resorting to confrontation against Pedro Sánchez's Executive: "And now they get squeamish? No. We are not going to let them get away with anything."
El Gobierno ha robado a dos manos. Mordidas, chistorras, joyas y oro. Prostitución y sicarios. Todo con el dinero de la gente que se esfuerza. ¿Y ahora se ponen exquisitos? No. No les vamos a pasar ni una. Y el CM del PP tampoco. FIN. https://t.co/mzVEXfNRbW

Given this panorama, this morning this newspaper wanted to know the position of the PSOE of Madrid. Thus, sources from the Madrid formation, speaking to this medium, have condemned the attitude shown on social media by the 'populares'.
The Madrid socialists consider that the publication is part of the harassment they denounce against the Executive and left-wing information professionals. “One more example of the harassment to which the right and extreme right subject the Government and left-wing journalists”, they have conveyed to this newspaper.
The response from the PSOE of Madrid also questions the methods of the organization chaired by Ayuso. “A display of lack of democratic culture”, add the consulted sources, who relate this episode to the actions of the regional president's chief of staff.
"We are going to crush you"
In their condemnation, the socialist sources make an explicit reference to the messages directed against a media outlet: “These are the ways of the mafioso chief of staff X: "We are going to crush you. You are going to have to close."
The expression they recall refers to the messages that Miguel Ángel Rodríguez sent in March 2024 to a journalist from elDiario.es, published by the medium itself. FAPE and the Madrid Press Association condemned those threats and supported their workers.
