Óscar Puente has questioned Alberto Núñez Feijóo after the president of the PP presented as a commitment that a president does not dance or kiss his partner during rallies, in reference to the kiss that Pedro Sánchez and Begoña Gómez gave each other at a rally. The minister shared his reaction on X to the fragment of the interview in which the popular candidate states: “My commitment is to have a president who does not dance at rallies, does not kiss his partner.”
Puente responded by questioning Feijóo's choice as a candidate for Moncloa: “Seriously, is this the best the PP had to aspire to the Presidency of the Government? It is unimprovable.” In another message, the minister raised the tone and resorted to sarcasm: “What a disaster of a human being. ‘I promise not to dance and not to kiss my wife…’ The speech that reminded me of Martin Luther King.”
"He promises not to dance at rallies, not to kiss his wife at them, and to lower your pension and salary. Won't you say that's not an unbeatable proposal?" he concluded in another of his X posts.
Se compromete a no bailar en los mítines, no besar a su mujer en ellos, y a bajarte la pensión y el sueldo ¿No dirás que no es una propuesta imbatible?

Feijóo justifies pact with Vox as a response to Sánchez
During his interview on Onda Cero, Feijóo also defended the electoral agreement with Vox for the Senate, which he defined as a "tactical agreement" aimed at trying to retain the absolute majority in the Upper House.
The popular leader attributed this decision to the alliance of the PSOE, Frente Amplio, and other left-wing forces, which he called a "coalition of desperados." According to his explanation, the understanding between the progressive parties forced the PP to make a move.
"Mr. Sánchez has changed the board and, therefore, we must respond to a move by Sánchez and all his partners," he stated. Feijóo maintained that not doing so would have been an "irresponsibility" and assured that he would not have closed the pact with Vox if the socialists had not agreed to run together with their partners.
Claims the differences between PP and Vox
Despite the electoral coordination, Feijóo insisted that both formations maintain distinct identities and highlighted that they retain their own acronyms.
"There is still a reformist center-right party, which is the Popular Party, and a more disruptive party, which is Vox," he pointed out.
The popular candidate presented the agreement as a "meeting point" to strengthen their chances in the Senate. In his opinion, it is an "essential coordination" and a "responsible response" to the electoral strategy of the forces that support Pedro Sánchez.
