Pedro Sánchez has vindicated this Sunday the PSOE's action regarding cases affecting the socialist environment and has assured that the party has always responded “with forcefulness” when behaviors far from its principles and values have occurred. The President of the Government thus defended the internal management of the formation in the midst of a political and judicial storm.
“Every time there has been a behavior that is not appropriate to what the values and principles of the Socialist Party and democratic socialism represent, we have acted with forcefulness”, Sánchez affirmed during his speech to the socialist militancy.
The leader of the Executive also wanted to differentiate these actions from what he considers unfounded accusations or attacks against the PSOE. “We will also respond to falsehoods”, he pointed out, before accusing the opposition of trying to mix both issues to wear down the Government.
Sánchez directly attacked PP and Vox, whom he defined as a “troublemaking opposition” that seeks “to overthrow this progressive coalition government with its bad arts”. The president insisted that the Executive will maintain its political course despite the pressure and judicial controversies surrounding the party in recent weeks.
