Gabriel Rufián, spokesperson for Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, starred this Wednesday in an address in Congress in which he addressed the policy of the right-wing bloc and the situation of migrants in Spain. During his address, the pro-independence leader made critical references to Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Santiago Abascal.Rufián ironically commented on Feijóo's request for respect towards the victims of Adamuz and recalled some statements by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, pointing out that possible agreements after the regional elections do not guarantee the stability of future governments. In relation to Vox, he warned that "perhaps you will not end up governing with Vox, nor with anyone".

The ERC spokesperson has also criticized this Wednesday in Parliament the presence of certain communicators linked to the right in Congress, whom he has described as "propagandists". In reference to figures such as Vito Quiles, Rufián stated: "There are some propagandists here, they call them uncomfortable journalists, who harass some of us, never you for whatever reason", in a direct reproach aimed at the opposing bench

In his appearance, the deputy also alluded to the public subsidies that certain media outlets aligned with the right receive, highlighting that these are not symbolic aids or “sacks of rice”, but significant amounts that, according to Rufián, are used to finance media projects and campaigns for political purposes. The spokesperson insisted that this practice contributes to a cycle of hoaxes and disinformation, where some communicators act more as propagandists than as independent informersRegarding Abascal, Rufián referred to the so-called "great replacement theory," stating that "it is true, they are replacing us, but not with migrants, with bad people." He also criticized the use of **golden visas**, which allow obtaining residency in exchange for investments, and pointed out that right-wing parties show greater concern for wealthy migrants than for the most vulnerable

The debate remains open on how to balance the protection of press freedom with the need to guarantee rigorous informational practice in public institutions, and what criteria should govern accreditations to avoid abuses or informational misrepresentations.
