The wife of the former PSOE Organization Secretary Santos Cerdán, Francisca Muñoz Cano, will appear this Monday at 4:00 p.m. in the Koldo case investigation committee in the Senate, according to what the Popular Party has confirmed.
"It's already spring and it seems that 'Paqui' does not have the ailments that prevented her from coming in January. She will have to tell in the Senate how public works money entered Servinabar and how it left her gold card in department stores", the party has pointed out.
His appearance will take place on the eve of the start in the Supreme Court of the trial for the so-called 'Masks' case, linked to alleged irregularities in the contracting of sanitary material during the pandemic. In this process, former minister José Luis Ábalos, former ministerial advisor Koldo García, and businessman Víctor de Aldama will be tried.
That same day, at 11:00 a.m., the executive president and founder of Forestalia, Fernando Samper Rivas, who was arrested a month ago by the Civil Guard within the framework of 'Operation Perserte', along with five other people, is also summoned to the Senate committee.
The investigation focuses on alleged crimes of environmental malfeasance, bribery, money laundering, and membership in a criminal organization. The case originated from the possible manipulation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), necessary for processing wind and photovoltaic park projects, and points to irregularities and possible commissions.
The PP has defended these appearances so as not to "stand idly by in the face of "all the irregularities surrounding 'sanchismo'". "The money of the Spanish people is theirs and cannot end up in the pockets of 'sanchismo'. 'Sanchismo' is lies and corruption. The Spanish people deserve to know the whole truth about 'sanchista' corruption and we will not rest until that happens," he indicated.
