Óscar López, Minister of Digital Transformation and Secretary General of the PSOE of Madrid, affirmed this Friday that the king will visit Ceuta "when it is opportune and that he will do so in coordination with the Government." "Absolute normality," he responded at a press conference in Ferraz when asked about the words of the President of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, confirming that King Felipe VI had expressed his commitment to that pending visit to the autonomous city. As the minister stressed, "the king will visit Ceuta when it is opportune and there will be absolute coordination in this regard."

The minister was also asked about the 2030 World Cup final and all the controversy surrounding it, to which López did not want to enter into this topic, nor into the pretensions of parties like Sumar, Podemos, or Vox, to exclude Morocco from the organization: "Spain presented a bid together with Portugal and Morocco, which was the winner, because FIFA has its procedures. And of course, right now the Government is working for that World Cup to be a success, and that is the most important thing," said the minister.

López also called "ridiculous" the criticism from the Popular Party towards the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, whom they accuse of having gone on vacation to La Mareta, neglecting Ceuta. For this, he replied to the popular party that the head of the Executive has been "in charge at all times" and that this very Friday he presides over a coordination meeting in which several ministers participate. In addition to this, he also stressed that the Government "has thrown itself" into Ceuta, even approving different extraordinary allocations from the Ministries of Inclusion, Childhood, and Finance and that it has worked at all times in "complicity and coordination" with the Executive of the popular Juan Jesús Vivas.

Finally, regarding the distribution of the thousand unaccompanied migrant minors that are estimated to still be in the autonomous city, López indicated that in addition to the law, the "solidarity mechanism" based on "objective criteria" is also in force, and that it must be complied with. "What the PP communities have to do is apply the law," stressed the minister, who also refused to "feed the grievances" that, as he highlighted, the popular party has with Vox on this matter in the communities where they share governments.
