The vice-president and secretary general of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, has considered that the Constitutional Court (TC) "has started the campaign" for the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, after the high court took a step that paves the way for the amnesty of the crime of embezzlement within the framework of the procés, a decision that could facilitate the return of former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont.
Specifically, the progressive majority of the Constitutional Court has supported the report by the president of the court, Cándido Conde-Pumpido, in favor of amnestying former ERC councilor Dolors Bassa for the embezzlement for which she was convicted by the Supreme Court (TS), which, for now, has refused to pardon that crime.
The TC's endorsement of the embezzlement amnesty could accelerate the return of Carles Puigdemont, also leader of Junts, after nine years on the run from justice, and took place one day after the early election, precisely due to the "no" of the pro-independence party to the housing decrees approved by the Government.
On his X social media account, Ignacio Garriga stated that institutions "used to be independent" and that "today [they are] an extension of the PSOE", concluding that "they are starting the campaign for Sánchez". In the same message, he called to "amend everything" in the general elections on November 29.
Las instituciones, antes independientes y hoy una extensión del PSOE, comienzan la campaña por Sánchez. El 29 de noviembre hay que enmendarlo todo.

Hermann Tertsch raises the tone against the high court's decision
Also the MEP for Vox Hermann Tertsch has reacted to the decision of the Constitutional Court on the aforementioned social network, where he has assured that it is "illegal, fraudulent, unconstitutional, a scam against Spain and a crime against legality and institutionality."

Furthermore, he has recommended that the PP "publicly apologize" for having accepted the appointment of Cándido Conde-Pumpido as president of the TC. In his message, he described the president of the court as a "hitman" and criticized an body that, in his opinion, "systematically violates the limits of its constitutional attributions."
