The ultra-agitator Vito Quiles, new trusted influencer of the Popular Party, no longer just for the PP of Madrid, but now for the party as a general concept, has become the protagonist of a public act that crosses any red lineAs we have reported from 'El Constitucional', Quiles will be the protagonist of the **closing of the campaign of the Popular Party in Aragon**. This is surprising and, without a doubt, represents a red line that the party has crossed: to praise and give media visibility to an ultra agitator who systematically publishes **hoaxes on his social networks**, which we debunk day after day on 'ElConstitucional.es'. It should also be noted that he not only spreads disinformation, but also **harasses politicians and journalists**, as has been documented week after week and month after month. His work is far from being journalism; his method is **harassment**, like any far-right extremist.
The Popular Party, by elevating it to protagonist in a campaign closing, crosses a line that no political party should cross, especially one as historic as the PP, in the same place as the Socialist Party.
They know me well enough: I have criticized on several occasions the pacts of the independentists with the PSOE, but what the PP is doing now is crossing an even more serious and worrying line: whitewashing and praising someone who does not practice journalism, an individual who harasses, who spreads disinformation and, consequently, boycotts democracy.
Elevating Quiles to protagonist, and even more so in a campaign closing, is unheard of. The PP, as the great party representing democracy, just like the PSOE, should not allow these types of actions, not even for electoral, political, or ideological gain.
Journalists from different editorial lines and ideologies have directly suffered the systematic boycott by Quiles, especially those of us who cover parliamentary information in Congress. His actions are those of a radical, not a journalist, and anyone with two fingers of sense can recognize it. This is not a matter of ideology, but of democracy
It should be remembered that Vito Quiles was a candidate on the SALF lists, Alvise Pérez's party. Then we would have to ask ourselves, what is another candidate doing at another party's event?, besides the fact that it's another agitator like Alvise. It's incredible.
No matter how much the PP has calculated a possible political or electoral gain, whitewashing and giving media coverage to a person who systematically goes against basic values of democracy, such as freedom of information, is crossing a red line. In Spain, unfortunately, there is still no legal limit against disinformation.
