Javier Ruiz will have the nights and Verónica Sanz, the mornings. La Séptima confirmed this Wednesday the distribution of two of its main time slots with a fun promotion that plays with the expression "being in your prime". The new channel, which will begin broadcasting on DTT on November 5, thus names the faces that will accompany viewers at the start of the day and during prime time.
In the video, several colleagues cross paths with Ruiz and repeat that they see him "in his prime," while he tries to understand why such insistence. The answer comes from Sanz. "In your prime I don't know, but to prime time you're definitely going," she tells him before clarifying the schedule distribution. "But don't you worry about anything, eh? Enjoy the nights, I'll take care of the mornings."
The network accompanied the publication with a message that maintains the complicit tone of the scene. "Javier to 'prime time' and Verónica to the mornings. Decided... until further notice," it announces. The promotion allows seeing the two journalists together and once again reminds of a date that also appears in the conversation between their colleagues, next November 5.

Ruiz's change was exclusively advanced by 'ElConstitucional.es' on October 5, when the journalist participated in the VI Ibero-American Congress of Marketing, Communication and Public Affairs of ATREVIA, at CaixaForum Madrid. There he explained that the call for the general elections on November 29 had altered his initial plans for the channel, where he was going to be in charge of the mornings. "I assume that I am going to move to prime time at once," he advanced during that conversation.
Two familiar faces to premiere mornings and nights
Verónica Sanz now takes over the morning slot after her career at laSexta, where she has participated in current affairs programs such as 'laSexta Xplica'. The announcement gives her a leading role at the start of the new television and resolves who will occupy the schedule initially planned for Ruiz. He, who also serves as editorial director of La Séptima, will bring his experience at the helm of programs such as 'Mañaneros 360', from RTVE, to the nights.
The channel's arrival will take place 24 days before the general elections, with political current events very present in its first weeks of broadcast. Ruiz had already explained that this calendar forced the project to adapt and had defended a television focused on live broadcasting and offering information with context. La Séptima has also proposed organizing electoral debates with an open and free signal that can be shared by other televisions, radios and digital media.
The information will coexist with other already announced ventures, among them 'La Comedia Nacional', the program presented by Héctor de Miguel, Quequé, which will feature Ignatius Farray, Mariang Maturana and Marina Lobo among its collaborators. Three weeks before the premiere, the new video confirms the slots for Ruiz and Sanz, while the names of their programs and the specific broadcast times remain to be known.
