La Séptima signs Noor Ben Yessef to lead one of its big prime time bets

Noor Ben Yessef already has a new destination on television. 'La Séptima' has closed the signing of the Sevillian journalist to lead a daily current affairs magazine in prime time, one of the most important slots of the channel promoted by José Miguel Contreras and which will begin its national broadcasts on November 5.

The new program will be dedicated to the review and analysis of the main news of each day, with space for conversation, interviews and live television. The choice places Ben Yessef among the main faces of the future grid and marks her return to a daily format after closing her stage at Atresmedia.

The journalist herself has starred in the video with which the channel has confirmed the incorporation. In the piece, she receives a call from 'La Séptima' and celebrates the opportunity to participate in a channel "plural, diverse and egalitarian". "It's just that, of course, how can I say no?", she replies before accepting the proposal.

Born in Seville in 1995, Noor Ben Yessef grew up in a family with a Moroccan father and a mother from Salamanca. The communicator has always spoken with pride of an identity in which her Spanish and Moroccan roots, Sevillian culture, and Islamic religion coexist. During her childhood, she experienced Triana's Holy Week and the celebration of Ramadan with her family with the same naturalness.

Her television career began in 2019 on 'Antena 3 Noticias'. For four seasons, she was one of the regular faces of the morning edition, a period in which she gained experience in front of the cameras and in covering live news. She later joined 'Espejo Público', where she made connections and carried out editorial work, before leaving Atresmedia in February of this year. In recent months, she has hosted 'Acento Noor', her interview podcast on Podimo.

With her arrival, 'La Séptima' adds a presenter with experience in news, reports, and interviews for one of its main nightly bets. Ben Yessef joins a team that already includes Javier Ruiz, Rocío Delgado, Alba Carrillo, Marta Márquez, Héctor de Miguel, Luján Argüelles, and Sarah Santaolalla, a combination of informative and entertainment profiles with which the channel wants to build a recognizable offering from its premiere.

The new channel will soon present its programming at the FesTVal in Vitoria before landing on Digital Terrestrial Television. On November 5, Noor Ben Yessef will open a new professional stage at the helm of 'La Séptima' nights and will take on the biggest television challenge of her career.
