Roger Llanes, director of the Office of Coordination and Promotion of the Execution of Aid from the Commissioner for the Reconstruction of the DANA of the Government of Spain, will be the new Government Delegate in the Valencian Community replacing Pilar Bernabé, as confirmed to EFE by sources from the Government Delegation itself.
The same sources indicate that Roger Llanes has worked for the last two years on the reconstruction alongside Pilar Bernabé, a task that he will now continue from the Government's representation in the Valencian Community, in a context where the works derived from the DANA and the new needs presented by different regions are maintained.
For her part, Pilar Bernabé, Secretary of Equality of the PSOE, Secretary General of the socialists in Valencia and until now Government Delegate in the Valencian Community, will head the PSOE list for the province of Valencia in the next general elections on November 29, and would maintain her candidacy for the mayoralty of the Valencian capital.

Roger Llanes is an agricultural engineer and a civil servant of the Public Administration, he has more than 30 years of experience in rural infrastructures, irrigation systems and agricultural policy, and also has extensive experience in political management.
In his institutional career, Roger Llanes was general director and autonomous secretary of Agriculture in the government of the socialist Ximo Puig, as well as head of the area in the PSPV-PSOE, a profile that is now linked to the new stage in the Government Delegation in the Valencian Community.
